About REZ
REZ (robust-regression z-score) is a powerful approach for detecting selective expression, which has been integrated into DESE (driver-tissues estimation by robust selective expression, see http://pmglab.top/kgg/) for driver tissue estimation.
The detailed method of REZ can be found in the following reference paper.
The website provides online query of the selective expression of genes produced by REZ from public datasets including GTEx (V7), GEO.
Moreover, you can download the calculated and QC-pass expression means and SE (standard error) of GTEx (V7), GEO and BrainSpan for driver tissue estimation by DESE, or other academic usages.
Recently, we add the tissue enrichment analysis function based on phenotype associated genes into the website. The enrichment methods include cutoff-free rank sum test (Mann-Whitney U test) and hypergeometric test.
